Lazzarini has always made a point of making his drool-worthy yacht concepts unique and stylish. The Italian design studio’s latest concept, the Sovrano, goes above and beyond all of its others with enormous size and luxury amenities reminiscent of an Alaskan – er, Italian – cruise ship.
Built to have enough range to circumnavigate the globe, the 555ft yacht has a spacious center carport that can hold up to six automobiles and two 49ft tenders accessible from port or starboard via an extraction crane who lowers the boats. in water. There’s also a smaller deck garage aft to go along with the double helicopter pads on top (which can also double up as a pair of pools).
Five levels in total, the ship has a fitness center, several suites and several swimming pools on each floor. At the bow of the ship, a three-level atrium consists of a large swimming pool and garden, and the retractable roof allows for a more open experience. Another highlight is the descending leisure platform which lowers from the side expansion to join the waterline below using four electric winches.
Always keeping an eye on the future, Lazzarini never shy away from innovative yet practical designs that always look amazing when all is said and done. Made from steel and lightweight carbon fiber composites, the Sovrano is also said to be the widest megayacht in the world at around 105 feet in maximum beam.
