When launched, the VLA26 Vega chair by Vilhelm Lauritzen was only available to visitors to the Danish architect’s modernist concert hall, Vega. But in October, Carl Hansen & Søn will reissue the stacking chair with contemporary touches, such as forgoing full upholstery to better showcase the oak elements of its construction.

Erika Shamrock’s new Zephyr textiles capture the idyll of a summer breeze. The twelve transparent patterns are based on the inspiration drawn from the irresistible combination of nostalgia and calm.

Lumifer

With the new Hedera collection from Lumifer, designer Javier Robles explores the helix pattern that emphasizes organic life. Named after a genus of English ivy, and like an abstract version of its namesake, each fixture’s hand-blown glass bulbs appear to spring from brass runners.

With his love for ceramics, actor Seth Rogen has designed three new clays rooms for his cannabis lifestyle brand, Houseplant. The brand’s products now include a new ashtray and inaugural vase and planter.

For the Armory Show 2023, Art for Change exhibited limited edition, hand-signed and embellished prints by Latinx artists Danielle De Jesus, Larissa De Jesús Negrón, Lucia Hierro, José Lerma, Devin Osorio and Jean-Pierre Villafañe . Prints are now available on lineand typically, Art for Change will donate a portion of proceeds to Independent Curators International, a New York-based nonprofit.

In September, Art + Loom celebrated the opening of its Miami showroom, located in the city’s Design District. Moleskine has teamed up with Missoni to launch a limited edition collection diaries and notebooks lined with Missoni fabrics. The famed fashion house’s mastery of woven textiles is on full display in interwoven stitches creating vibrant visual and textural dimensions, while the pages within invite all sorts of ideas and notes from its inspired owner.

Uovo

Art management and storage authority Uovo recently appointed Brennan Lowery as managing director of guard robe: Uovo’s museum-quality storage and curation service for haute couture wardrobes. Lowery hails from Bergdorf Goodman, where she oversaw customer operations for the revered department store.
