Stax Premium Seamless Version 6 Workout Set | Editor’s Review

There’s a lot to be said for the age-old motto of wellness and wellness, and running around in a nice set of sportswear that makes you feel confident and secure certainly helps. Since I started running six years ago (phew, time flies), I’ve worn all kinds of sportswear, from cheap to expensive and everything in between. I don’t like workout clothes just because they’re branded; Basically, I want clothes that work, i.e. sports clothes that are non-slip and sweat-wicking, with a hint of compression. I’ve tried every designer set and dupe you can think of, and can confirm that the Stax Premium Seamless V6 Strappy Crop ($36) and Stax Premium Midi V6 Bike Shorts ($36), alongside any the Premium Seamless Version Six line, are some of the best workout clothes I’ve owned.

What I love about the Stax Premium Seamless Workout Set

The first thing that comes to mind is its compression – this sportswear set gets you in shape. I remember trying it on for the first time and thinking, “Where are those curves coming from? It accentuates your body in the best way while remaining comfortable and breathable to wear. The top and pants move with you so you never feel cramped, and its moisture-wicking fabric stays dry no matter how intense your workout. (After running in a 90-degree heat wave, I found its fabric to be very impressive.) Its waistband is ribbed and flexible, and its top has adjustable straps and removable pads that ensure a comfortable fit. I took a size small and after washing it several times I can confirm that it still fits perfectly. Although I wear this set for errands, it can be used for heavy lifting, hot girl walks, or even running errands. My friends mistook it for a Skims set, and I took that as a huge compliment.

What to Note About the Stax Premium Seamless Training Set

My only complaint with this set is that it retains its smell. It’s honestly the weirdest thing I’ve experienced, but if I put it in the hamper with other used workout clothes, it takes a few washes to get the smell out. It’s not a big deal, and I’ve started separating it from my other running gear, which has helped, but it’s worth noting if you’re having this problem yourself. Another considerable detail is that Stax is an Australian based brand, so be prepared for shipping to take a bit longer than other brands as it may get stuck at customs.

Who is the Stax Premium Seamless Training Set for?

Literally anyone. Whether you’re looking for a flattering workout set to wear for daily walks or want a set that can handle a sizable gym workout, this workout set will suit everyone. It’s great for any type of movement, however, I wouldn’t bask in it around the house. Its compression can certainly feel constricting if you don’t move around.

Additional Details

  • The shorts and top are available in sizes XS-2X.
  • The set is available in eight color options.
  • The shorts have a high waisted design.
  • The extra-long crop top stops at the high waist of the shorts.
  • The shorts and top can be mixed and matched with anything in the Premium Seamless Version Six line.
