Royal bride adorns Lebanese designer haute couture gown as she says ‘yes’ – Emirates Woman

When it comes to weddings, the focal point of the day is most often the wedding dress. This rings especially true when it comes to a royal wedding.

It was no different for the royal wedding of Prince Alexander of Schaumburg-Lippe and Persian pianist Mahkameh Navabi.

The couple got married in a small civil ceremony previously due to the pandemic, but last week they said ‘yes’ again in front of their family and friends in a larger ceremony and the bride wore a luxury haute couture dress designed by Azzi and Osta.

Mahkameh’s dress was designed with intricate embroidery details and an impressive tail. This luxe figure also had an enchanting off-the-shoulder flair. From the world of organza petals to the house’s iconic ruffles, fans couldn’t help but praise her crisp wedding dress.

With over 700 hours of tailoring and impeccable attention to detail, the dress defined a new era of elegance based on precise production techniques.

“It was a great pleasure throughout the process which had been going on for quite some time,” said the designer of the dress, George Azzi. “What started as a formal reunion, ended in a year with a dear relationship with Prince Alex and Princess Mahkameh.”

With all the royal elements gathered in this wedding, from the horse-drawn carriage to the family tiara, the couture dress has surely made its own impression.

The wedding took place at Bückerburger Stadtkirche in Germany with several prestigious royals who made it to the guest list to attend this special day.
