Mowalola is one of London’s liveliest (and busiest) emerging designers, but the Central Saint Martins graduate, Fashion East alumni and Kanye West’s creative director has never hosted its own pop-up in the UK – until now.
The first pop-up store takes over the Dray Walk Gallery in Shoreditch, east London, from November 26 to 28 during the Black Friday weekend. Showcasing pieces from Mowalola’s “Lola Land” product collection and rare archival pieces alongside three colourways of the limited-edition “Monsta” boot and the brand’s signature “Bundle” bags, the pop-up allows the London fashion crowd to get their hands on some of Mowalola’s biggest hits.
On top of that, the pop-up will feature exclusive merchandise ranging from a “Jesus 4 Life” hoodie to “Free Mowa” t-shirts, “Tramp Stamp” transferable tattoos and a sweatshirt. complementary hood with the same tribal pattern, “M”. logo rings, and a small table made in collaboration with Chapel.
Throughout the space, other unique pieces of furniture will be on display which will set the stage for the brand’s first physical space.
As stated, the pop-up will be hosted in Shoreditch and is open daily from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm The only requirement is: “No loot, no entry”.
