MOLLY-MAE Hague and her boyfriend Tommy Fury have splashed the cash fitting out their £3.5million home – even shelling out £8,000 on their ‘dream’ mirror.
But an interior designer set out to prove that you don’t have to spend a small fortune to achieve an equally chic interior.
Speaking to Fabulous, interior designer Alex Casa, who posts under the acronym @casalawson, revealed how you can recreate the Love Island star’s glamorous style on a budget.
And if you don’t want to search high and low for such chic products, look no further, because she’s rounded up the best dupes on the market…
OLD BRASS LIGHTING
Molly-Mae, who moved to a new location after she and Tommy’s flat in Manchester were ransacked by burglars while in London, often documents her expensive purchases on her Instagram account.
“In the lighting department, antique brass is a theme carried throughout Molly-Mae’s property that we’re here for,” observes Alex.
“There are some beautiful wall sconces out there right now that would bring a touch of luxury to any hallway.”
The interior design expert recommends Made’s Verona LED wall light which retails for just £75 and looks just as chic as the ones Molly-Mae chose for the walls leading up to the staircase.
In the lighting department, antique brass is a theme carried throughout the Molly-Mae property we are here for.
The economy version not only features brushed brass and smoked glass, making it the perfect modern focal point for any living space, but requires LED lights, which are more efficient and last longer.
However, if that’s not to your liking, then fear not! Alex also suggests recreating the 22-year-old influencer’s light fixtures with Universal Lighting’s “Classic Aged Brass Patina Single Wall Light,” which sports an elegant champagne glass shade.
And perhaps best of all? It is currently on sale and has gone down from £172.44 to £137.95.
Meanwhile, the interior designer notes that National Lighting’s £110 ‘DIP – Pendant Light’ and Made’s £130 ‘Masako’ are excellent dupes for the impressive pendant light Molly-Mae has as a focal point hanging from the hallway ceiling.
“Over the past year or so, we’ve seen body vases become all the rage and Molly-Mae is a sweetheart too,” notes Alex.
The interior designer goes on to reveal how you can pick up a similarly styled vase for as little as £13.45 on Etsy, while Rockett St George has an alternative for £37.
However, if you’re looking for something in between, then perhaps the £29 ‘Body Vase’ from Glamorous Hang Ups is what you’re looking for?
Sculpted pieces focus on celebrating women’s beauty and are perfect for holding real flowers or faux flowers, while providing a stunning display that is sure to stand out in your home.
“When styling tables and buffets, it really helps to always arrange them in groups of 2 or 3,” says Alex.
“As you can see on Molly-Mae’s table, it has a mirrored top paired with a diffuser and a glass candle and matchbox.”

To recreate a similar finish, she recommends Dunelm’s £30 ‘Faux Marble Silver Circular Tray’, which is perfect for adding a touch of style.
She also suggests a bargain buy from Hobby Craft, which sells for just £5.50 and is ideal for displaying in the center of a table with a flower arrangement or, like Molly-Mae, a diffuser.
“I love that Molly-Mae is a lover of Zara Home,” says Alex, who observes that the reality star also buys a lot of her everyday glassware there.
“Follow her style and get some Zara home reed diffusers too!” »
Molly-Mae is such a fan of her latest purchase – a Timothy Oulton mirror – that she shelled out two. And trust us when we say they don’t come cheap!
Standing 2.4 meters tall and weighing 25 stone (165 kg), there’s no denying that they make all the difference.
But let’s face it, few of us have a spare £8-10k to shell out for a mirror.
Well, the good news is that Alex has cheaper alternatives that still evoke an Old Hollywood feel, but for a fraction of the cost.
First, she suggests a £130 “textured silver full-length mirror” from Next, which will help add a high-end touch to any space.
Or, if you have a slightly larger budget, then Alex advises shopping at Gelisim, which sells a £185.60 frameless mirror that offers two colors of light: white light and warm light.
Molly-Mae recently took to Instagram to reveal that she was on the hunt for some artwork to put up in her new tiered pad.
And according to Alex, there are two main places worth visiting.
First, she advises taking a look at British abstract artist Toni Thornton, who specializes in original and printed artwork/homewares.
Second, the interior designer recommends having a mooch at Redbricks Studio, which features the work of artist Katya Hughes, whose Instagram bio says she has a “love of color, gold and interiors”.
If you want to achieve beautiful flooring like Molly-Mae but don’t want to break the bank, Alex has the perfect solution.
She suggests visiting Discount Flooring Depot, which sells white marble flooring reminiscent of those featured in the influencer’s new pad.
And according to Alex, another website worth checking out is Leader Floors, which sells high gloss marble laminate flooring at £33.99 per m².
