THE dream of having a mini Balenciaga on your arm may be enough to make you buy one.
Although the idea is attractive, the investment may not be worth it, especially if you are undecided and tired of trends.
If only there was a way to make design trials affordable.
Luckily, TikToker and fashion influencer Lauren Wolfe found a way.
In Lauren’s recent video, she films herself visiting a designer warehouse in New York City.
She swapped her Balenciaga, Chanel and Fendi bags for a Louis Vuitton, another Fendi and a Dior.
Lauren uses a rental service called Vivrelle.
Vivrelle lets you pay a monthly fee, which starts at $39 and is based on the items you’re interested in.
For $39 a month, you can rent a piece of jewelry from their “Premiere Closet” which includes merchandise worth up to $1,000.
For $99 per month, Vivrelle lets you rent an item from their “Classic Wardrobe” worth up to $4,000.
The article can be a piece of jewelery or a bag.
For $199 per month, the “Couture Closet” offers you the possibility of renting a jewel, a bag or a limited edition item.
The last option is their “Couture+ wardrobe”.
At $279 per month, you can rent one piece from their “Classic wardrobe” and one from their “Couture wardrobe”.
All of these plans require you to apply first, and if accepted, you must commit for at least three months.
If you like an item, you can keep it as long as you want.
You don’t need to swap out items every month and everything is always available for purchase.
Even if you don’t live in New York, you can still sign up for their service and they will send you all the items for free.
Everything comes with standard insurance.
