East Lancashire Hospice sells and auctions designer clothes to raise money for their services.

The hospice helps people with life-limiting illnesses in Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.

One of the ways to raise money is by selling and auctioning designer and high-value items on their eBay page.

A Vivienne Westwood poncho, £454 designer shoes and more are just a few items up for auction – and some of them are selling for hundreds.

A big item sold is a Vivienne Westwood poncho.

A spokesperson for East Lancashire Hospice said: ‘We receive a wide variety of items donated through our charity shops and often these can be collectibles or designer items of greater value.

“By selling them on online marketplaces, like eay, we are able to sell them at a higher price than in our charity shops.

“It helps us raise the £4million the hospice needs each year to continue to provide care for people in Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.

“Almost every day we list new items on Ebay and Vinted – antique clocks, pottery collectibles, vintage jewelry and designer clothes – we really have an eclectic mix.”
